Slightly unfortunate

Half an hour before I was to get up, I got a leg cramp again. This time, the faintness set in within seconds afterwards: I tried to sit up, but was immediately lost in the fog and had to lie for a little while looking at a weaker, patchy version of the circle of yellow lights that I have seen on two earlier occasions. Also, I have had symptoms of stomach ulcer all yesterday, so I dare not take aspirin. I had a tablet of vioxx left from before it was forbidden, though, let us see how that works.

We have an important meeting at work all day, with the people from the eastern provinces having come down here for a chance. I thought the Universal Force only kept me from travelling there, and that them coming here would be OK. Now I have to wonder. Normally I get so stiff for the first hour after a leg cramp, I cannot step on the foot. Sometimes I can go to work the day after, sometimes it takes two days. (It was worst the first times, when I did not think of taking non-steroid antiinflammatory drugs immediately afterwards.)
