Southern Norway is like a tinderbox

The lawn is yellow, and so is the neighbor's. It is not dead yet, but at least I don't have to mow it. The forest is still green, so I have seen worse. This is pretty much routine here, and is usually followed by a wet summer, but people usually forget this over the course of the winter.

Even so, I am not as happy as usual about the railway being only a hundred yards or so from the house. Each year, sparks from the trains start fires along the railway, although usually in the wilderness. Then again, most of Norway is wilderness.
