As I was walking from the bus station to work, I noticed a woman who was looking at her mobile phone, then shouting "woohoo!" or some similar phrase while raising her hands in the air. That is fairly uncommon here in our reserved post-Protestant culture, so I must assume that she had just fulfilled her lifetime want or something. I doubt it was just the joy of having managed to secure for herself a new iPhone, although you never know. She started walking, still grinning from ear to ear, while I was walking toward her from the opposite direction. At some point she noticed me and looked at me briefly with an expression that said "this guy thinks I am crazy but I don't care". I wish I saw more people with that expression.
