Alcoholic soda, after 3 weeks in the shops, overtook both Pepsi and the national brand Solo and is now second only to Coca-Cola. It still sells less than beer, but the sales are still increasing as not all shops have stocked the new product yet and not all customers have become aware of it.

Norwegian media also cite a Dutch study showing that alcoholic soda gives a faster intoxication than other drinks with a similar alcohol content.
